Design a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) interface skid and backpack interface frame, with a verified structural design for the manufactured components.
The approach
The work started with a survey and assessment, followed by mechanical interface design. Finite element analysis was used to check the structural integrity of the aluminium frame.
The deliverable
The project included structural load-test specifications to support commissioning of the manufactured components.
